Blanked all fields titles and metas for better function?

    I had the following problem.

    At the page editor I gave a title to a page.
    But in my browser all kinds of words were added to the title tag.
    So all I did was remove all the fiel values at:

    SEO / Titles & Metas / Post Types and Taxonomies

    After done that now the titles shown in my browser are exact the value that I enter at the page editor.

    This seems to work fine for me, but I am not sure it’s ok that I removed all mentioned variables. Is “my way” a good way for my SEO?
