• I had a friend tell me today that she can’t comment on my blog- she gets directed to wp-comments-post.php after she hits post, which is blank. I tried it as well, same problem. I searched the forums here but all the posts are at least 3 years old and there does not seem to be an answer.

I disabled all of my plug-ins (and deleted some I really don’t need) and added them back in one at a time. All was fine thru the first ten or so, then the issue reoccurred. I disabled that plug-in and tried again but it still wouldn’t work until I disabled all of them again. I’m using 21 plug-ins, though could probably whittle that down even more if one of them were the culprit.

There doesn’t seem to be a particular plug-in that is triggering this. If I add them back in a different order, at some random point it will stop working.

My WordPress is a multi-site installation. The main site can be visited here. https://debslosingit.com/ The issue occurs on sub-sites as well.

    Any ideas?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I believe its the Google AdWords plug in that is causing the problem. I’ve eliminated all the plug-ins I absolutely do not need, and after trying each on the remaining ones alone, I think I’ve isolated it as the issue. Unfortunately adding them all back one by one did not show me which one it was- I’m still not sure if the issue was being caused by Google AdWords in conjunction with another plug-in or just on its own.
