Blank WP Admin/Login

  • Ok, so I did try several fixes first and no luck, my wp-admin page and wp-login are showing up blank. I did have a plugin that redirected to a custom URL, that was blank, so I removed that plugin and still get a blank page. Other things I have tried:
    -rename plugin folder (no effect)
    -reinstall all core WP files (no effect)
    -rename current theme folder (no effect)
    -remove htaccess file (no effect)

    Inspecting the html of the login screen just gives me a blank html page.

    Page still behaves properly (when the plugin and theme folders are the right name) but I can’t get to the dashboard.

    Ideas are appreciated.

  • update files manually, download fresh WP, then upload it via FTP. Website loading, so it may be some file or code in Wp-admin folder which is causing problem if not themes & plugins.

    Do you have access to your site error log, by Cpanel or Plesk for example ? Else ask your hosting provider, as such logs may directly provide the error causing this.
