When I want to log into my website through wp-admin or wp-login.php, I get a blank page. I am unable to reach my dashboard. The front of my website is visible online, but I am unable to work on the back of te site. I’ve been searching for a solution for a day now, but haven’t found it yet. Please help me!

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and the wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

    – running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

Indeed it seemed to be a corrupt plugin. Strangely it was a plugin that has been working for a long time and hasn’t been updated.

I renamed the plugin folder to plugins-old, created a new empty plugins folder and reinstalled the plugins one by one to see which one was corrupt.

    There was my solution. Thanks!
