My feed is working fine, but I’m noticing that when I’m not already logged into an Instagram account, whenever I click on a tile in the feed (in a desktop web browser) it opens a blank white page, nothing else (see here). The title of the post gets pulled through in the browser tab, but nothing else. This seems to happen to any IG post link from any account that I have tried, as long as I’m not logged into IG. If I am logged in, it loads fine. This means that any user of a site using this plugin who is not logged in to IG will just get a blank white page. Try it with any IG post link in a private tab and you can see. Any info on this and is there a fix?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @threeoten,

It looks like the issue would be on Instagram itself since after a visitor is linked out of your website they’d just be on Instagram as if you had gone there yourself. Testing the IG Post myself it works whether logged in our not.

Would you be able to share a link to your site so I can investigate the specific issue further and see if there’s anything else that could be causing this? I believe it is https://www.quailsprings.org/ and the Instagram Feed there works as expected both logged in and out of Instagram.

It would seem that it is more likely to using the browser, Brave, and potentially other privacy or content blocker options in the browser directly. I tested the site using Firefox with all privacy blockers, and the feed still worked as expected even when being linked out.

If you check the site in another browser, does it work as expected?

    Many thanks,
    Joel

Seems I have figured it out. It was my VPN causing the pages not to load. IG must be blocking the VPN IPs or something.

    Hey @threeoten,

A visitor does not connect directly to Instagram normally when our GDPR functionality is working which it is in this case, and images are being displayed directly from your server. That being said a VPN can cause other issues in general or have privacy protection built it, and may flag certain content as being external and not show it. I am glad you were able to identify it on your end, but let us know should you have any questions or concerns in the future.

    Best regards.
