Blank white page poping up to cover page in Safari

  • I am having a problem with Safari, a blank white page with just the title showing pops up after the page is opened in safari. I have tried to turn off plugins but it didn’t help.

    Hi there,
    I clicked on the link you provided in Safari and saw the page as intended (screenshot #2).
    1. Does it happen in other browsers?
    2. Have you tried to disable any Safari extensions you may have installed locally?

    Hi, Thanks for your response. It is not happening in Chrome or Firefox and I’ve checked a laptop with Safari and its not happening there, but on my computor, ipad and iphone its happening in safari. I have checked and i dont have any Safari extensions. Its not happening on all pages just books, about and contact.

    Hi, okay: That’s good—we’re eliminating some potential culprits.

    Could you try accessing these pages in Safari in Private Browsing mode? Check out Apple’s guide for Mac and iPhone for instructions on how to do it.

    Hmm, interesting ??
    I’m unable to access the site now because it’s in maintenance mode.
    The next thing I’d try would be changing the theme.

    Hi, Thank you again. I tried to change the theme and in Safari it changed to only showing the white page in the About page rather than the 3 pages it was showing before, so it improved but didn’t fix it completely. I have changed the theme back to Astra so I don’t need to do all the editing but I have turned off maintenance mode. I am hoping you have another suggestion. It’s odd that it’s not happening in safari universally? Do you know if there is somewhere i can test this?

    Hi, i believe the problem was templates used and the theme i was using. I changed from Astra to Hello and it eliminated the problem on all pages except about where i had used a template to create the page. I recreated the page and it eliminated the problem. thank you for all your help it got me to eliminate some possibilities and led me to the cause by default. ??
