Blank white page after updating to 4.2.2

    Clicked update, it went through it’s usual motions and then presented a totally blank screen. Can’t get to wp-admin. Went by FPT to plugins folder and deactivated the plugins. No help. Am on Hostgator.

  • Did you try switching to the default theme (similar way as you did with the plugins)?

    I reinstalled the theme and it’s fixed.

    Hey, I have the same problem. Blank screen after update. No access to admin page.

    I deleted my theme via FTP Server. Afterwards i am able to access the dashboard again. But as soon as i copy my theme on the server and activate it, the same problem occurs.

    Any idea?

    I am also having the same problem…

    If I wait a few minutes and re-load, the page will appear. But if I click update the try to visit my site I get a new tab with a blank white screen and no loading/ buffering.

    I faced same problem but got the solution. don’t delete your theme or refresh it. Just go to your cpanel and change your PHP from 5.4 to 5.5 and you will get fix.
