Blank (white) edit posts or pages

    Hi,
    We just switched from yoast to rank math seo today.
    We ran the setup wizard and everything seemed to be working.
    In the posts / pages overview it says “Update your post” for every single page / post.
    When I try to edit a page or a post I get a completely blank/white screen – nothing there.
    What has gone wrong – please help us.

    follow up:
    we did indeed try and de-activate allinstalled plugins.
    It didn’t help.

    Assuming you are using at least PHP 7 and the latest version of WordPress & Rank Math, it seems like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

    It was an old child theme that caused the trouble.

    Everything seems to be working again.
