Hi, I’ve been using your plugin for a few years fine, suddenly the meta description and the custom title tag is not displaying in google, the description is blank and the title is just my site name… do you know why this could be?

    Hi @alexd123

Upon viewing the page source of your website, we do see that the Yoast SEO plugin is outputting the title and meta description tag accordingly.

We’re not exactly sure as to why Google is displaying it with a blank meta description in the actual search results, but when we try to run your URL through Google’s Rich Results Tool or Mobile Friendly tool, it looks like it is reporting that the page cannot be reached by their crawler or bot. You may want to check if you’ve set anything in your robots.txt file to block their crawler or if there’s something else in your setup that might be causing this.
