    Hi,
    in my notificationmails when a new post is published I have in every Mail blank spaces even in links and sometimes special characters. I write my blogspost in the plain area, I do not copy text…I can’t find the cause of this. The text in the subject which is ###posttitle### is correctly, the same text in textarea ###posttitle### not. For example:

    Subject: New post published Test mit Bauma?nahme
    Text: We have published new blog in our website. Test m it Bauma?nahme

    Please can you help me?
    Best regards
    Birgit

    I looked the source codes of the Mails and found out, that the return is not correctly. At the end of every line is “=” and this disturbs.
    Example:

    Hi, has anybody the same problem? Even in Hello World Newsletter it is the same problem with blank spaces….

    Email subsc ribers plugin has options to send newsletters to subscribers. It has a sepa rate

    Has anybody an idea? Is it because of the php-settings? Mail-client?
    Thank you

    Hi @birgitvolk,

    We tested the same at our end and it is working correctly. Are you using latest version of Email Subscribers (v3.1)?

    Also, in which format you are sending emails, HTML or Plain text?

    Thank you for the tip,
    I changed the emailtyp to “PHP HTML Mail” and now it works.

    I have exactly the same issue. Since the original poster uses a German language, and I use a Dutch (nearly the same), could it be related to translations?

    Unfortunately I cannot change to the non-WP method since those emails don’t arrive (although the plugin says they are sent correctly).

    We are sending WP HTML.

    @geertvanhorrik,

    Could you please make sure that you are using latest version of Email Subscribers (v3.1).

    Further, could you please change the ‘Mail Type’ in the ‘Email Subscribers -> Settings’ page to “PHP HTML Mail” and then have a recheck and do let us know.

    “Unfortunately I cannot change to the non-WP method since those emails don’t arrive (although the plugin says they are sent correctly).”

    So already tried that, but it doesn’t seem to work. I also made sure I am on the latest version.

    Have the mails which are not arrive gmx or web.de mailadresses? That would be another bug.

    GeertvanH

    (@geertvanhorrik)

    No, I tried on custom domains and outlook.com, maybe the PHP mail isn’t configured correctly on the server, but shouldn’t WP mailing work out of the box as well?

    I had the same problem whith gmx mailadresses, and the reason was, that the envelope had the wrong address in MAIL FROM. You habe to give all mailfunctions in email-subscribers/classes/es_sendmail a fifth parameter. Like:`wp_mail($adminmail, “Cron URL has been triggered successfully”, $es_cron_adminmail, $headers,’-f’ .$sender_email);
    with me it worked.

    Today I tried setting the website language (of WordPress) to English in the hope it would solve the issue, but it didn’t.

    To give you a better understanding of the issue, I sent a test email to myself and created a screenshot of how it is being rendered:

    @geertvanhorrik,

    Create a new static newsletter, then try sending it yourself using send mail immediately option and then have a check.
