• Hi, folks
    on/about Dec. 21 we started seeing the AddThis code start generating some kind of line break, extra space at bottom of all pages pulling the code; both WordPress sites and also our business site where we’re using classic shtml static pages.

    This is still happening as of 12/29 and I will go so far as to call it a bug, as it breaks responsive design by causing a footer in a color background to no longer be flush with bottom of browser window.

    On the AddThis support forum, as CSS solution was provided, but this seems a stop gap solution for something which should *not* be adding “all of a sudden” a full line break or 10px of space at bottom of every page within the visible body.

    For those who have also had a WTF moment and could not figure it out, this was the code solution to add to CSS for the time being until it’s fixed.

    Hi, for those of you also using the AddThis plugin in some form or another, and have noticed on/about Dec. 21 a sudden blank space at very bottom of your webpages – like an extra line break – the solution for the moment is adding the following code to your custom CSS box in the theme panel, or bottom of style.css file if you edit that directly each update:

    #_atssh{
     display:none
    }

    This is *not* a theme issue, but something being loaded by AddThis at bottom which is inserting something in the rendered page.
