  • Hi,

    When excluding a shortcode, it’ll also exclude the content that is within that shortcode. In WPtouch Pro, you can add support for the desktop theme’s shortcodes. This say you can see the content that is within the shortcode and do not need to exclude it in the WPtouch Pro admin panel.

    do you mean to reverse the behavior? I think it would rather need to double the post content with and without the shortcodes, but…looks not really practical:

    [wptouch target="non-mobile"]
    all post content here for desktop
    [/wptouch]
    [wptouch target="mobile"]
    all post content for mobile without the unwanted shortcodes
    [/wptouch]

    Like this? But the problem is that I will see an empty line before the mobile content, I need try, because the post content is marked up with schema.org and I have no idea what google will return in rich snipper testing tool.

    Any better suggestion/hack?

    I just don’t want the stripped shortcode being replaced with

    <br>
    <p></p>

    in the HTML output

    Support for WPtouch Pro is provided exclusively through the ticketing system. Should you need further assistance, login to your wptouch.com account and open a new ticket.

    I don’t see the signup link in that page

    That is the gateway for WPtouch Pro customers to access their paid support. Use your account info to sign in. Your email will be the one used to purchase the plugin and you can use the link to change/create a new password if you’ve misplaced the one sent to you.
