Blank Space at Bottom of Front Page

I love the theme and have been able to customize as needed–except for one thing:

There is a large blank area on my Front Page layout, between the overlapping content area and the footer. It’s over 500px high when viewed on my desktop, and I can’t seem to close up that space.

Looks fine on mobile devices though.
