Blank space about footer

    Hi guys, I’ve got a quite unnecessary blank space above the footer that I can’t remove.
    I don’t think it comes from plugin as this blank space was there originally. I tried to use codes advised to users with same issue, but as they were intented for other themes, I did not work for me. I’m not very familiar with CSS, so I will appreciated if anyone knows how to remove this. Thanks in advance. Have a good day.

  • @annaklanduchova : Go to Appearance => Customize => Additional css and add the following css.

    .singular-section{
	padding: 0;
}

    It looks like you have added a widget in the footer without any content, make sure you remove the unused widgets from the footer and most importantly, update your theme to the latest version.

    Am I allowed to comment on this with my own issue seeing how it’s the same thing? The code you supplied for Anna didn’t work for me. I have found various snippets while looking for a solution and none of them had any effect whatsoever

    The issue I am having is the fairly large area between the bottom of the content and the start of the footer. Been messing with this for 2 days and really need to find a solution. Thank you!
