    Has anyone else run into a blank shipping class on a completed order? We have had 2 so far and the only information I have found is a possible plugin conflict. I have been trouble shooting another issue and did the conflict test but got nowhere.

    The orders were placed and paid for without the customer selecting a shipping class. Usually there is a line item for the shipping like the attached but these 2 orders didn’t have that. The orders have 0 correlations; different products ordered, shipping to different states. I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue.

    Hi @wrskate ,

    I understand that you’re seeing orders with a missing shipping class and have already done some progress with the plugin conflict test. It’s also interesting that there’s no pattern with the products or shipping destinations.

    For a situation like this, I’d suggest checking the following:

    1. Are all your shipping zones and product shipping classes correctly set up in WooCommerce? If there’s a configuration issue there, it might lead to unexpected results.
    2. It might be worth checking if it happens with certain payment methods or order processes, just to rule out those variables.

    Fortunately it has only happened twice, so I believe that the configuration is fine. It happened twice last month and hadn’t happened before or since.

    We only have stripe as a payment method but it would be interesting to see what type of card was used for these two transactions to see if there is a pattern there.

    For now I will continue to monitor and see if the issue happens again.

    We had another one come through yesterday. This one also doesn’t share anything in common with the other 2. All of the orders used a VISA to pay but that doesn’t help much since that is the most common payment method. Something is happening before payment is placed.

    I am at a complete loss on this.

    I understand how frustrating this can be. To assist you further, could you please let me know which payment plugin you’re using on your site? I’d like to check if the plugin has fraud order management settings and whether those settings are enabled.

    Also, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
    • Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
