Blank screens after increasing PHP memory limit!

  • Hi, I am developing a multisite network. It worked fine up to the moment that I asked my host to increase the php memory limit to 64M. From the moment they did this change, I get a blank screen when trying to enter wp-admin and in the main site both the admin bar and the whole sidebar is missing.

    I asked for a higher php memory limit for good and it seems that I have run into serious problems!

    Any hints?

    My host increased the memory limit to 72M and it worked. Now why it worked for 8M, it works for 72M, but it did not work for 64M, I give up!
