blank screens after I log in

  • Can anyone shed any insight as to why after I log into my site, I am suddenly seeing only black screens when I go to and click on the lefthand side bar tabs such as dashboard, pages, etc. and attempt to make edits/changes…but I can’t because nothing is being displayed? About the only tab that produces an actual visible screen is the CK editor tab…

    Ironically, my site and all of its underlying pages are showing up just fine when the corresponding URL is inputted in any browser.

    It is true that I have not updated various plug-ins that I’ve been offered for some time (likely since I first installed the site in late 2011)…but would that be the actual cause? At this point,
    most all of the screens associated with the various left hand side bar column tabs are displaying blank screens alongside them, inclusive of the plug-ins tab, with the exception of the CK editor tab…which is displaying its content alongside just fine.

    The CK editor tab DOES show that I have seven updates, and four plug-ins waiting that need to be updated…but I can’t accept or make those updates because as I said, when I go to the plug-in or updates tabs in the left sidebar…they just shows a blank screen alongside.

    Frustrating. Any thoughts, everyone? Your wisened help/advice would be profoundly appreciated. Thanks!

    I just learned that a lot of the hosting companies have recently made upgrades to their systems and this might have affected a number of Word Press sites. However, the problem is easily correctable. I suggest that you check with your hosting company regarding any upgrades made and see if they can help you to resolve your issue.
