This certainly is not a desired/designed behavior. Usually this kind of problems are related to either some sort of resource issues on server, some unusual security setting (on site or server) blocking some of the ajax requests or plugin scripts, or – most often – to the conflict on site (with theme or another plugin).
At this point, it would be essential to perform a full conflict test on site first:
– temporarily switch theme to Twenty Twenty-Four or Twenty Twenty-Three
– disable all the plugins except Forminator
If the issue is still happening, we know it’s not a conflict but rather security or resource issue so you can enable your theme and plugins back and let us know and we’ll see what to check next.
But if the issue is gone then
– enable your original theme back and test again
– if it’s still fine, start enabling your original plugins back one-by-one, after each one checking for the issue.
At some point of this test, issue will start happening again and it will mean that last enabled thing (theme or plugin) right before that would be the cause of the conflict.
Let us know about it – knowing about it we could then test it closer in order to find and provide solution.
