Blank Screen on Step 2

Drop the tables and try again…if it happens again, then drop the tables again, reupload the source code and try again.

I dropped the tables – same thing happened.

I’m trying to set up wordpress as a test for my customer to see if he would like it. Since I didn’t have any luck on the other host, I switched it over to another server that is running linux. I got through the 2nd step and received the email with my user/pass. But, when I go to the login page, I get the following error:

Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp/wp-admin/ on this server.

I checked the permissions for the wordpress folder and it looks okay. What else could it be? Thanks.

But, it seems like I don’t have access to any of the other pages. I looked through many pages of this support forum, but I can’t find the answer. Any help is most appreciated – I’ve been at this all day.
