Blank screen of death in the backend.

    I got the white screen of death in my backend and the error log give me this:

    [20-Feb-2015 06:22:55 America/Denver] PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home3/whatstyl/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/wordpress/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/php/54/usr/lib64:/usr/php/54/usr/share/pear’) in /home3/whatstyl/public_html/wordpress/wp-settings.php on line 21

    Please help.

    Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
