Hi, I checked your site I can’t see any video. Are you sure you are adding the shortcode? Make sure you clear your cache if you have a cache plugin.\

Also can you test one shortcode only in a test page or test post.

Okay I can see the link and it does open up into a blank screen as you mentioned. Can you try the following. Disable all other plugins except this one then try to view the video. Let me know what happens.

Hi, what I am asking you is to deactivate all of your plugins except this one. If you did that, what happened? Did the video work?

If nothing happened and you still have the issue, can you test one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Sixteen or Seventeen? The theme can be tested in the back end without affecting your site.

I’m encountering the same issue on my production site. The odd thing is, the video still displays in the lightbox on my dev machine.

@linas01, I just carried out a test using the following shortcode and it works in my testing site. But in this case I used the following parameter auto_thumb=”1″. Also make sure you are typing the double quotes correctly.

[video_lightbox_youtube video_id="Ryb0YlxiC-g" width="640" height="480" auto_thumb="1"]
