• I have read all the previous questions and answers about blank pages after upgrade. But non of them have the solution.

    History:
I upgraded from 1.5 to 2.0 and now to 2.0.1 following all the rules precisely.

My wordpress weblog is hosted at Lycos:
    MySQL Version: 4.0.18
    PHP Versie: 4.3.10

    Status:
Sometimes I get blank pages a couple of days. Without posting or doing anything my weblog is up again, everything looks fine. Then a few days later all pages are blank again. The sourcecode is also blank. But NON PHP pages are working fine (like *.txt or readme.html)

    Any ideas?

  • Have you emailed Lycos to make sure everything is ok their end? Seems strange that these blank pages appear about a couple of days.
    I’m not too sure otherwise..
Try deleting all plugins from your plugin directory incase one is conflicting.
Oh and try using the default theme, make it the only one available etc.

I will check Lycos first thing in the morning. I renamed the plugin directory to check if it was one of the plugins. (also deactivated it before upgrading) It worked fine for a day or two. But at the end it did not matter.

The default theme I cannot select, as all pages are blank, even the administration pages.

I will post the comments of Lycos here tomorrow.

The strange part is, if you look at the testscript which show all PHP information of my server at Lycos, it works fine! So it must be something wrong with WordPress:
