Blank page with 3.2 install

    I uploaded all the WP files into a directory that I made in the root folder (httpdocs) to put a blog within an existing website. Went to do the install and all I get is a blank page. This is my first WP to install. I have installed other versions into other sites or as its own domain, but I am stumped on what to do. I have deleted the files, redid the database, downloaded the software several times and still the same problem. I don’t know where to go from here. Any suggestions or help?
