Blank page when editing

  • Hello,

    I’ve been a very satisfied user of your plug-in for more than 2 years now.

    However, since I switched to Gutenberg editor (removed the classic editor plugin), Worpdress often shows me a blank screen when I want to edit an existing post. I checked all plug-ins and the only solution is to de-activate “Rate My Post”. As soon as it’s de-activated, I can edit the page again.

    This blank screen doesn’t happen with every post, but definitely with the majority. Clearing cache etc also doesn’t help.

    Do you have any suggestion how I can edit my pages/posts without having to disable the plug-in every time?

    Hi Maarten,

    I did a quick test and I couldn’t replicate the error you’re reporting. Could it be a combination of Rate my Post and some other 3rd party plugin? Do you see any errors in console or PHP error log? This would make debugging easier.

    I have no idea what other plug-in it also causes. As soon as I de-activate Rate My Post, I can edit the page again.

    Hmm, I can’t see anything related to the RMP in the console and I can’t replicate the error. You do have a syntax error there though. Can you investigate that a bit more, please? To see the code that’s causing the error.
