I installed the plugin, but when I go to /wp-admin/tools.php?page=gauntlet-security, I get an error in my Apache log:

I have tested the Gauntlet Security plugin on WordPress 4.0 and WordPress 3.9 and faced the same issue as you reported.

It seems that its integration into the WordPress back-end is not fully functional

Thank you for alerting me to this. I’ve just released a new update that clears this up.
