    This is my second install – trying to correct the same issue from the first install – this was configed as wp1 as per a post I found on here.

    It is installed in the root. Dashboard can be accessed but when I go to the site or try to view the pages/post = nothing but a white screen.

    Do I need the original index.html (blank)? What triggers the index.php to load the blog and does it load into the index.html.

    Why are my pages not displaying?!?! How do I fix this?

    Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    That is what I did yesterday – deleted eveything and started over…. ecxcept that I used the wp1 work around as I didn’t know how to delete the database tables. Can you advise me on how to do this?

    Thanks for the quick response!

    What wp1 workaround?

    Maybe I found it in google search

    But is said to change the wp to wp1 in the config file:

    /**
    * WordPress Database Table prefix.
    *
    * You can have multiple installations in one database if you give each a unique
    * prefix. Only numbers, letters, and underscores please!
    */
    $table_prefix = ‘wp1_’;

    Do you already have one copy of WordPress using the database?

    I deleted my original index.html file and voila it works!!

    I also found where the tables (database) are… though I think I will leave that alone and work directly in the dashboard. Phew!!!

    Thanks
