blank page after installation

  • I install wordPress without any problem unfortunately after installation when I want to log in I see a blank page … I found something about it on this forum however it doesn’t work (comment 7th line in wp-admin/index.php)

  • I have the same problem. Any solutions you’ve found yet?

    Mine is doing the same thing, although I can get around it by going to another URL within the admin (say, …wp-admin/edit-comments.php), but I can never get the dashboard to show up. I’ve deleted all, reinstalled, etc etc…

    Must be a hosting issue?

    I had this issue when moving my blog from one server to another:

    1. Mysql database was out of date but the WP told me that and it was updated with one click.
    2. Still blank, so i go to check the theme and I have a message that the ‘theme’ is broken.
    3. Selected a default theme and activated it.
    4. It worked! I can see the front page again, it was a broken theme, probably from the move.

    Hope this helps somebody.

    I have the exact same problem, but I just installed WP for the first time, there’s nothing installed, no themes or plugins! Anyone found a solution?
