    Hello All

I have just upgraded from 2.9.1 to 3.0 and I have, what I have found to be called” the “blank page of death”. I have tried 3 complete install attempts (deleted all files and installed new ones) with absolutely no luck. I have also moved all of my plug-ins to a folder I created called “bad” but that didn’t work either. The weird thing is that all my admin pages (i.e., the dashboard at /wp-admin/) seem to be working perfectly. I can view and edit my posts, comments, and media that I have uploaded. It is only when I try to go to the main page or view individual posts that I get a completely blank page. When I look through the forum pages here the only fixes I see are reinstalling or plugins but I have tried both with no effect. The upgrade seem to go well, I just don’t know what has happened. Are there any other fixes I can try?

Thank you all for taking the time to read.

Ok … I figured out the problem. For some reason, WordPress v3.0 did not come with a “default” theme located in:

    wordpress/wp-content/themes/default/

So when my site tried to render itself, it barfed because that folder wasn’t where it was supposed to be. Seems like a pretty big goof on WordPress.

Anyway, my site is back up and working great. Thanks to all who came to help.

You know, I have the same problem, however, when I looked I found a default theme. I even tried to place a new theme in the default directory (by renaming an existing theme default), and I get the same blank result for any sub-blog that I create. The issue is the same, the admin panel is fine, but the URL for the subdomain is a complete blank.

Same issue here. The folder for the default theme exists and contains Kubrick. I can see the pages within the database and within the admin pannel …

What do i have to change?

BTW: I am using Mimbo [1].

    1) Rename your plugins folder to plugins-old

    2) Delete wp-admin and wp-includes and then reupload from a FRESH download of WP from this site.

I have the same problem as the first post of NoSalt.
    Panel working perfectly.
I can write new posts, pages, upload medias, remove comments, etc.
    The feed is working too.

The problem is all on the front-end.
    “blank page of death”
    No source code at all.
    No errors messages.

I′ve tried everything. Reinstalled dozen times. Uninstall and removed plugins folder, etc, etc. Changing themes, etc…

I do have the “default” theme on the themes folder.

I thought it could be a htaccess problem, but when I put a link on browser like this: “https://www.cabanacriacao.com/blog/?p=991”
htaccess does its magic and put “https://www.cabanacriacao.com/blog/archives/visitando-a-big-spaceship/”, but it falls in a blank page with no errors neither source code at all.

Any help? If not, any tip to debugg it and find the error?

Check the Functions.php file for blank lines. Make sure there are no blank lines outside the <?php ?> tags.

The last tip from chadmin did the trick.

Looks like you can’t have any blank links above “<?php” or below “?>”.

    Thanks!

I am running WP on my local machine using Microsoft’s WebMatrix server.
I don’t have Log In screen. just blank page., I can not log in in WordPress at all – no Dashboard, no admin control whatsoever.
What can I do to fix this?
