• Resolved v2006

I’m unable to login to my WordPress site.
All I get is a blank page.
I tried renaming all plugins on the server and discovered one plugin causes errors when I disable it and the login box appears but still cannot login.
    Here’s my site: https://www.aclcnagtional.org

    Please help resolve

    Thank you

Yes it works with original permalink structure.
Thanks so much for helping me out.

    I have a follow-up question..

What’s the easier/best way to transfer the subdirectory site (when finished) to root directory without messing up the URLS? I usually get my host to to do this but the image URLs always get messed up.

The best way to transfer them is by using SSH. It takes few seconds, and you’re done. That’s how they do it anyway – I guess. Having your images urls messed up is a result of address change process.

If you need any help, just let me know.

Not familiar with SSH so will have to study up on it.
Thanks again for your help. Will definitely refer WP users to you.

Please check why I get this error message on the home page of https://www.aclcnational.org/dev/ and am unable to login.

Notice: Undefined index: z8867b in /home/aclcnati/public_html/dev/wp-includes/class-wp-term.php on line 1

    Also when I go to https://www.aclcnational.org/dev/wp-admin.php I get a 404 error page.

Disabling the plugins made no diff..should I try doing a manual update?

    Thank you.

This is the correct address for login: https://www.aclcnational.org/dev/wp-login.php

It’s an obvious connection with class-wp-term plugin, can you disable it by renaming the directory in the plugins folder?

I renamed the plugins folder to plugins_hold
There is no plugin named class-wp-term I only have akismet, category-sticky-post, genesis-simple-hooks, loginizer.

I still see the same error

    Thoughts?

    Have you also tried:
    – switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen, etc.) for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins). If you don’t have access to your admin area, use FTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required). Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder by adding “-old” to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.
    – If all the above steps do not resolve the issue, then try MANUALLY updating. Download a fresh copy of the WordPress .zip file to your computer, unzip it, and use that to copy up all files and folders EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory. You may need to delete the old wp-admin and wp-includes folders and files on your server before uploading the new ones. Please read the Manual Update directions first.
Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups!

Thanks Tara..the manual update resolved the problem.

Please help with this site transfer question..

I moved all files from aclcnational.org/dev to aclcnational.org (public_html) but when I login to aclcnational.org it redirects to aclcnational.org/dev. I changed the general settings from aclcnational.org/dev to aclcnational.org but it made no difference.

    Please advise

    Thank you.
