Blank lines when excluding single posts and pages

    Hi,

    Nice plugin. All works well but I get a blank line on sitemap.xml for each excluded post or page. More spcifically several lines of: <url><loc/></url>
    Google says:

    Sitemap can be read, but has errors
    Invalid URL
    9 instances
    This is not a valid URL. Please correct it and resubmit.
    Examples
    URL:
    Line 3
    Parent tag:
    url
    Tag:
    loc
    URL:

    Dear @gregslegs.
    I did a research regarding your issue and can confirm it. Unfortunately it is not in my scope to fix it because it is produced by WordPress core. So, I openend a ticket to fix this here.
    I’ll keep an eye on this and will give you a reply as soon as I know this issue is fixed.

    Thanks to the WP core team I could modify the way to exclude the posts from the sitemap.
    I could upload the version 2.0.3 which includes the fix. The empty lines are gone, now.
    Could you please double check and let me know if it works for you?!

    Hi,
    I just tried 2.0.3: the posts and pages are no longer being excluded from the sitemap which is worse than before. Am I missing something ??

    I tested it once more and can confirm pages won’t exclude anymore. Posts will be excluded.
    This behavior is fixed with version 2.0.4 qhich was released right now.
