Blank Icons Due to Font

    I am using Google Fonts which I want to keep to give my site the same font. My social media icons from the plugin are there but blank without labels if I use the font I want. Is there a

      FONT CONTROL CODE I CAN CREATE or CSS SELECTORS I CAN ADD TO GOOGLE FONTS

    that will give me the font everywhere on my site except the social media buttons? I either get this working or look for a plugin that works with my site. Let me know ASAP.
