Blank htaccess file twice in two days

    I have a clients site that twice in two days has had issues with the htaccess file being completely erased resulting in 404 errors when customers try navigate around the site. The home page loads but not the internal pages.

    Can anyone suggest any trouble shooting hints to resolve this?

    Hi @purplewebcreative

    This means that your WordPress Permalinks code is being removed from the HTACCESS file and why all pages except for the home page are not loading. You will need to save your Permalinks settings in WordPress again to regenerate the Permalinks code. You could ask your hosting provider if they can see why the HTACCESS file contents are being removed as our plugin won’t do that.
