Blank editor after update

After updating to wp 4.4.1, i am unable to edit some of the pages on my site. Although the content is there and the page loads, when i go to edit the page or post, the editor is blank.
Theme, plugins etc. are all up to date. Emptied browser cache, it makes no difference.
