Blank editor after Better WP update

  • After updating to current version of Better WP Security, I lost the ability to see text in Text Editor and can’t access the tab to Visual.
    I deactivated all plugins and added them back one by one and it was the Better WP plugin that deactivates the Visual tab and makes all text white on Text editor.

    I was able to temporarily reactivate the editor by adding
    define(‘SCRIPT_DEBUG’, true);

    to my wp-config file, but this should not be a permanent fix. I need to find the actual problem.

    Any suggestions? I have had this problem before when I added Better WP plugin, but can’t find how I fixed it and can’t locate on any WP forums.
