Blank edit page issue. 3.9.1 wp pinboard theme

  • hi,
    I had upgraded to wp 3.9. and then to wp 3.9.1

    I now have a complete blank page in one of my edit page / backend of one page.

    I changed theme to twenty twelve = the edit page / backend of a page returns to normal.

    I also of course, deactivated and activated all plugins.

    i believe some have rewound their wp press back to an earlier version and that this solves this problem.

    HOWEVER, i do not have access to a cpanel in hosting as someone else has organised that for me…. i only have access to my website and dashboard. how do i this rewinding back to earlier wp version or is there going to be a solution to this problem in pinboard?? i like pinboard, i dont want to change themes…

  • I would personally avoid downgrading with WP. If you raise a request then you are more than likely to get a fix.

    I did read some users that had the same issue.

    you know i am thinking the only solution for this one problem blank page is to copy it and delete it and then redo it. will that work? same url as before.

    I think your above method should work.
    Since the issue happens to specific page only, not all pages or posts on your site, you can try to switch to twenty twelve theme first, then recreate a new page with same content, after that switch back to Pinboard theme see if any update.

    You can also compare the page in problem with other pages, see if any special code or layout settings in this page.
