• Hello,

I logged into my WordPress wp-admin and the dashboard is blank. The left side menu is still showing, but when I click any option the links are not working. The main dashboard area remains blanks — so I cannot do anything (post a page, update plugins, change menus, edit theme, etc, etc — nothing!)

I updated a plugin yesterday (Thrive Visual Editor) but if this is the issue, then how can I de-activated or revert the plugin back when I cannot even access the “Plugins” menu option in my WordPress dashboard?

    Help! Thanks ??

  • You can access your plugins through your hosting control panel file manager.

Once in the file manager, go to /wp-content/plugins

You can rename the plugins one at a time to see which one is causing the problem. If the Thrive update started the problem, then start with that plugin.

If you don’t know how to do this, contact your host; they should be able to explain how to access the files on your site.

Also, make a backup of your site before you make any changes. Your host should be able to help with this too.
