    Hi there,

    I am using RSS Aggregator (4.5.3) with keyword-filtering plugin (1.5.1) on a WordPress/Buddypress installation.

Currently, I import only one feed, filtering works fine, and items are shown correctly within a widget on the main page via [wp_rss_aggregator].

But the custom feed URL gives an empty stream (see https://enova-friends.net/news_rss).

All limits set within the settings should not be too limiting.

And – it is a few months ago but – if I do remember right, the “external” custom feed worked fine soon after the initial installation.

    Any hints?

    Best, Chris

We haven’t encountered this before. Even if the limits were incorrect, you would receive a feed that contains no items. Have you tried refreshing your permalinks?

    Hi there,

Sorry for the delay. No, refreshing permalinks unfortunately did not help.

I have now done the following.
    1. Deleted all feeds I had
    2. Deinstalled WP-RSS-Aggr plugin and Filter-Plugin
    3. Newly installed WP-RSS-Aggr Plugin with default values
    4. Newly introduced one feed

    Result …

    • Feed is loaded, items appear in feed preview and at “Feed Items”.
    • Shortcode placed on standard blog page shows feed items acc. to the settings.
    • Same shortcode placed in text widget (as I had before) shows [wp-rss-aggregator] only.
    • Custom feed URL (…/wprss) shows RSS head but no items.

This is really strange. The plugin worked very nicely for quite a while now.

I also tried to deactive all other nonvital plugins without effect. I am really lost.

    Christian
