We are using Complianz with our WP-Store Locator plugin. When our Complianz has Google Maps service integration turned on the area on the page for the map displays a large blank frame. There is no button to click to enable the area. We tried using the WP-Store Locator integration in the plugin section but that didn’t fix the issue. In some cases, with the WP-Store Locator plugin integration turned off, but the google maps service turned on the button would appear, but attempting to click the button did nothing.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @mainliborg,

I’ve installed the latest version of Complianz and WP Store Locator and this seems to work out-of-the-box on my end, this is with both the Google Maps and WP Store Locator integrations enabled under Complianz > Integrations.

    Example: https://poor-panda-take.instawp.xyz/store/

Any idea what the difference with your set-up might be?

    Kind regards, Jarno

I just discovered something interesting. If you clear the cookies from our site and retry to view the maps it works properly the first time you load the page. But every subsequent time you load the page it shows the Complianz banner again across the google maps window and then no longer allows you to click it to show the maps and additional data. Clicking the banner does nothing. I’m starting to think maybe there’s an issue with Complianz reading the cookies on the site (to see if authorization has been placed), or updating them (once they are there clicking the button doesn’t work to reauthorize seeing the content).

    Hi @mainliborg,

Can you check which Integrations you currently have enabled under Complianz > Integrations > Plugins?

I would recommend testing the behavior when you only have the default Google Maps integration (Integrations > Services) and the WP Store Locator integration (Integrations > Plugins) enabled, and all others disabled, because this exact set-up seems to operate fine on the above test site.

I’ve tried turning them all off and there’s no change. It has come down to the presence of the cmplz_marketing cookie set to “allow” that is blocking the button from working. But I’m also wondering–should the button appear at all if cmplz_banner-status is set as “dismissed” and cmplz_marketing is set to “allow”?

    Hi @mainliborg,

It seems that the WP Store Locator integration is currently off because the script is not blocked either. Therefore, the placeholder is not added. Could you turn it back on? Could you also try disabling other plugins since it does seem to work on a default setup?

    Kind regards, Kim
