blackoot-lite Theme Problem

    Hi not Sure what version its is of WP, but I been working on it 2 months, I install Buddypress on your blackoot-lite theme, all is fin e but I cannot upload videos either on Buddypress or con the comment side of the blog can you tell me if your theme is upload video friendly? Because all indicate thet the theme may not be compatible.

    Hello,

    Well I’m not sure exactly what the issue is, but from your description I’m not quite sure this is a theme issue (themes are meant for “content presentation” only, any other function such as creating/uploading content belong to WordPress core or plugins)

    But there is an easy way to figure it out: please try to switch to a default theme (like twenty-fourteen that comes with WordPress).
    – If it still doesn’t work then it is not a theme issue, you may then want to check the buddypress documentation and FAQ, and ask their support if you are still stuck.
    – If it works with another theme and you only have this issue when using blackoot lite, then please let us know precisely what the issue is (what are you trying to do exactly and what goes wrong) and you’ll look at it more closely.

    Hi, lovely theme but I can’t get the footer to show no matter what settings I use. The footer shows up fine with other themes. I’ve noticed that when “previewing” this theme from my WordPress installation and even the WordPress site here the footer is still missing, so am wondering if the problem lies with my site or the theme itself.
    I have created a footer menu and ticked “footer menu” under theme locations, and the footer menu is selected in the “navigation” settings of the theme customization menu. All these actions work for the header, but not the footer. I’ve tried specifying a footer on the page settings and leaving it blank, selecting full page and default page. Nothing works.

    @pinksparklegirl there’s a glitch in the current (1.0.5) version affecting the footer.
    It has just been fixed in an update (1.0.6) which is currently pending review on www.remarpro.com. It should be available within the next hours or couple of days.
    In the meantime you can also fix it right away on your site by following the instructions given at: https://www.iceablethemes.com/forums/topic/error-on-page/#post-10556

    Hi thanks im still on the video problem, question, if I change theme all my content still the same or get deleted?

    Just try to let users upload video and pictures to the comments.
    Pic are upload fine when i upload video say:
    Heads up! You are attempting to upload an invalid image. If saved, this image will not display with your comment.
