Hi, I am quite impressed with WPedit. I have a question however.

I use Page-Builder by Site Origin together with Black Studio TinyMCE. In a sense I think that WP Edit supersedes the need for for Black Studio save for the fact that you get a visual editor widget which is seriously crucial to using Page Builder.

Does it make sense to use both?

    Hi Philip,
I’m familiar with BSTMCE… but I don’t think I’m understanding your question correctly.

WP Edit has a feature to add text widgets.. but it is not a visual editor text widget. This is where BSTMCE is typically used in conjunction with WP Edit.

Now, WP Edit Pro has an entirely new, very powerful, Widget Builder option. This let’s you create widgets, just like a post or page, and insert them into either widget areas or content areas.

I’ll have more documentation on this coming soon.

So, for now, if I understand.. you will want to keep both plugins.

    Thanks Josh,

I think you did understand the guts of the question. Page Builder lets you lay out any page on a system of rows and columns and call widgets wherever, with our without short code, and all without resorting to code. This is where BSTMCE becomes the hero.

WP Edit and BSTMCE seem to play nicely, so it is for the moment a good result.

    Wonderful.
Please let me know if anything changes. I haven’t talked with BSTMCE in a while.. I’ll have to check in and see how he’s doing ??

    Thanks again!
