Black Screen after Click on Link

  • When I click on any link on the site, I get a black screen.
    However, opening the link in a new window doesn’t cause that problem.

    I’ve already disabled all plugins and enabled them one by one but this didn’t help.

    Went to >> Setting >> Permalinks and saved the settings again. No change either.

    I changed to another theme and the problem disappeared; however, a theme change would be not a quick fix. Where to look to get it sorted with the current theme?

  • This problem is caused by the Swipebox overlay.

    Follow these steps:
    Dashboard -> Customize -> Custom CSS ->Put these code and Save.

    #swipebox-overlay {
    display: none !important
    }

    Thank you very much! It did remove the error and I am very please for your quick help.

    Unfortunately, the links still don’t work. Any suggestions for that?
