• Hi,

I installed this plug-in and have a black screen, how can this be fix and where does the member sign in from?

I am using IE ver 11 , and FF the lastest as well, I could find where to set the permission? Isn’t permission is auto for most people browser? What this mean, everyone have to set their browser for permission then?

    [wpRTC room_name=”room”]

Please help the step for working function,
    Thanks
    Jimmy

    Hi

I am going to be doing some testing this weekend. but Chrome and Safari are the only supported browsers due to it being a webRTC plugin, which is only really supported at this time by webkit.

Have you tried one of those browsers?

    Hello,

I have tried Chrome on Windows 10, Microsoft Edge, and Chrome on Android, but I still have no luck getting the plugin to work. I have my API key saved and I’ve tried minimal shortcode, but I am only greeted with a black screen. My browsers are not even asking for permission to use the camera or microphone. I am running a WordPress Multisite installation, however that doesn’t change anything. I say this because I’ve also set up a separate, brand new WordPress installation that is only running the wpRTC plugin, and I still have the same problem. I have a hunch that the new release of WordPress (4.4, Clifford) might break this plugin, however I have no way of confirming this because I have only tested it on WordPress 4.4. Here is the page that it is not working on.

This looks to be a very promising plugin if it would work. I appreciate the option of a free version, and if the Pro version had a certain feature, I would be willing to pay for it.

    An update:

The cause of the black screen is the browser. The plugin does not work in the latest edition of Chrome. I have confirmation that it worked in version 43.0.2357.81, but somewhere afterwards the developers must have changed security settings or something and now the plugin does not work. It works in Firefox, but that is about it. I am trying to find a flag to reenable support for the plugin, but so far I have no luck.
