black box behind menu bar

    how can i remove this black rectangle and change menu text color? this is 1000 X 43px under header pic.

  • Can you provide a link to your site please? You can find out what CSS needs changing by using Firebug of Chrome inspector

    Have you set up a child theme or are you using a plugin for custom CSS?
    If not, that’s the first thing you will need to do. Otherwise any change you make will be lost if there’s a theme update.
