Hi, thanks for the beautiful theme.
The issue described here still exists.
I’m referring to the black background visible when site’s pages are loading.
I don’t even use slider, and I’ve tried the suggested solution in the child theme (aplite), but it doesn’t work.
I had to modify the original theme, in this way the black background doesn’t appear most of the time, although it can still happen at a lower frequency.

Hi, sorry for the late, I haven’t received the email in response (or it has ended in spam).
After several tests I think it wasn’t a problem of the theme, or at least I’m not sure it was the theme.
Now it seems fixed by changing the site background from an image to a color (through custom background in the backend).
I still haven’t understood why appeared a black background while waiting to load the background image (the image wasn’t “heavy”), but anyway now seems fixed with the elimination of that background.
(Maybe it was because I loaded via CSS that same image also on the menu to have a transparent effect on the current item.)
    Thanks for the interest.

P.S.: anyway the site is the one in my username.

    Thanks.
