Black background instead of transparent, version GD Graphics Library

  • Hi, thanks for the plugin, it is very good.
    But I have on one installation black background (watermark in png file) instead of transparent,
    I think this is a server issue, but which version is GD Graphics Library?

  • HI. I think I’m having the same issue. I had my site tech upgrade my php and gd libraries. I’m still having the issue. I’m not sure what’s going on. It’s very frustrating.

    I think maybe it’s a server issue, but on other hosting, the same WP version, and the same theme, (but not copy) works.

    Yes, it’s all about the PHP compilation with the GD version used. Unfortunately, we don’t know which exact version is causing this issue but upgrading to the latest PHP resolves this issue almost in all cases
