Bizarre Post order Problem

  • I was trying to add a post. I entered “save a draft” and got an a message saying that editing the post had failed. After this error, my blog started displaying in chronological rather than reverse chronological order.

    The blog is at bobchatelle.net.

    I’ve emailed my hosting services asking them to restore my files from their backups. But I’d like to avoid this problem in the future.

    Has this happened to anyone else?

    Well, my blog is working again but I’m not sure I would call the problem resolved. A while ago, I installed postmash. I never used it, but thought I might at some time. It caused no problems until I got the weird error message. But I disabled and unistalled it and my posts now display in the proper order.
