Bitly option creating link for unwanted pages

  • Hello,

    Super Socializer is my only plugin with bit.ly configured (I don’t use bit.ly any other way).

    I realized today when consulting my bit.ly links created last days that some unwanted links were generated : wordpress php files, wp-admin page, and sometimes old pages that do not existe anymore (all those links with 0 clicks on it)…

    As I only use bit.ly with your plugin, I assume your plugin automatically created those links. Can you help to prevent that ?

    Hi,

    You can try clearing the bitly cache from the Miscellaneous section at the Super Socializer > Social Sharing configuration page in the admin area. If this doesn’t help, please shoot an email to support[at]heateor[dot]com as I would need more details.
