Bitcoin and iDeal not visible in checkout

    Hi, I’m trying to use this plugin for Bitcoin, iDeal, Credit card and Paypal. Credit Card and Paypal work fine and are visible in the checkout but Bitcoin and iDeal are not while both are enabled in Mollie and in the woocommerce payment settings. I tried disabling other plugins like suggested in another topic but without results. Can anyone help?

    Yes, let’s look into this.

    Do you have any other WooCommerce related plugins installed? Which?
    Did you try with a regular test product of 10 euro’s? Does that work?
    Care to share the direct link to your test product so I can look?

    Hi, I just recently sign up with Mollie.
    Everything has been approved and ready to go, also installed the plugin and got the Live API.

    I have chosen 4 payments to be available at my online store (Creditcard, PayPal, iDeal and Bitcoin). All these payments also have been approved by Mollie.

    But, on my checkout page only Creditcard and PayPal options are available.
    I believe I’ve done everything correctly, and also double checked at woocommerce > settings > payments > Mollie payments settings..Save the modifications..and again nothing..Only CreditCard and PayPal options are available on the checkout page of my online store.

    How can I solve this issue?

    Hi Alex

    I just checked your site, and I see what you mean. Very strange. I’m thinking it might be something with multi-currency, as Creditcard and PayPal off course support USD and iDEAL does not. This would not explain Bitcoin. I’ll do some more testing and get back to you!

    I can confirm that at least iDEAL isn’t shown in checkout because the iDEAL system itself does not support payments other then in EUR. To allow your international customers to use other currencies and payment methods for their local market, consider making your store multicurrency. I’m writing a manual here that might help (work in progress).

    Now, the same might apply to Bitcoin, but I don’t think thats logical because of the nature of BTC. I’ll reach out to Mollie and ask them about it, and get back to you.

    Thank you very much for your help and valuable info.

    Yes you’re right, it is about the currency settings…
    At my online store going to Woocommerce settings I changed the currency from US dollars to Euro and all Mollie’s payment options showed up at my checkout page.

    Your two (2) replies to me opened my eyes, and figured out how to solve this.

    My pleasure.

    Mollie replied: their partner for Bitcoin only supports EUR conversions. This will also probably not change because there are only a very small amount if Bitcoin payments being made.
