• Even though I have both the side bar widget and the back end setting set to manual translate when someone clicks the translate button, every time someone logs onto my site a Translate popup is appearing towards the top of the page and it is translating.

The majority of my readers are English and my site is in English so I do not want this pop up to appear.

How can I stop this please? I only want the Bing Translate plug in to work is someone specifically clicks on the translate button.

    My site is https://www.cthreeeurope.com.

    Thank you!

    Honestly, Jordii, I can’t remember!

There is a great instructional video on the plug in page here on wordpress.

If I remember, it was quite low down the page and it is a case of clicking the link for it to show. I believe I ignored all the setting that came with the pop up, but followed this video instead.

The only part to be aware of is that this involves modifying a theme. I am not tech minded and I could follow it just fine.

However, when you have done it, copy and paste the full code lay out to a notebook page or something. If there is a theme update, you will need to redo this procedure, so it saves having to find the video again if you already know what the code is supposed to look like!
