When trying to print shipping labels using my paypal debit card, we are getting this error “Billingdaddy failed – Unexpected error result”

I called paypal and they don’t even see the transactions attempted on their side, so its definitely an error within wordpress / woocommerce.

It works with other cards, just not this one. I’ve tried completely removing the card and re-adding, and it didn’t change anything. I’ve tried to update all plugins, and all except “Multi-Carrier Shipping Plugin for WooCommerce” were updated. This one says there is an update available, but I have no option to actually update it. Not sure if this is causing any issues though.

Its definitely not being blocked by Paypal. I was on the phone with them for 45 minutes, and they couldn’t even see the transactions attempting to be made, so its being blocked before even trying to go through.

I am printing labels directly through our website, just with woocommerce shipping. We go directly through the order to buy labels.

  • Hello,

I’ve read you posted the same question on the WooCommerce core forum, I understand everything is updated on your site except “Multi-Carrier Shipping Plugin for WooCommerce”.

When trying to print shipping labels using my paypal debit card, we are getting this error “Billingdaddy failed – Unexpected error result”

Can you provide a screenshot of the error? you can send it via https://snipboard.io.

Also, you can go to the WooCommerce > Status > WooCommerce Shipping & Tax Status page to check if there are any indications of what is happening there? We recommend enabling logging, so that you can try again to purchase/print a label, this will help to see if the logs show any relevant info about the issue.

If that does not help, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Remember to include a link to this forum thread (and your WooCommerce core thread), so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.

    Thanks.
